Adopting from Boreal Puppies

*The price will remain at $2600 for Janie's remaining two puppies going home January 24 2026.

 

  • Regardless of size, colour, coat type, or gender, we are focused more on puppy personality and finding the right match for your family. ​​​​​​​​

​

Reservation Fee: $500

A non-refundable $500 reservation fee will secure your date of reservation on our master list for a puppy after:

 

  • Application received

  • Video call meet and greet completed

  • Reservation Contract/Agreement signed

  • *Note: your reservation fee locks your purchase price in for 1 year after which your contract must be resigned.

Remaining Balance: $2,300

 

  • $1,000 – due when the litter reaches 2 week old (or within 2 weeks of your reservation if the puppies are already older)

  • $1,300 – due within 24 hours of choosing your puppy, once final contracts are signed.

  • If you are reserving your puppy after 7 weeks old full payment is due upon choosing your puppy and signing the contract. 

​​

Boarding: 

  • Puppies are ready to join their new families at 8 weeks old. Understandably sometimes families have plans that cannot be altered. If boarding is required beyond the designated Go-Home day(s) we can continue to board your puppy for $35/day.

A little more detail about purchasing from Boreal Puppies:

​Welcoming a Goldendoodle puppy into your home is a big moment! Below is an overview of what to expect when adopting a goldendoodle from us:

​

 

Step 1:  Puppy Application 

  • Begin by completing Boreal Puppies' Puppy Application.

  • I’ll confirm receipt (usually within 48 hours) by text or phone.

  • We will schedule a face-to-face video call at your convenience.

 

​

Step 2: Connection Call

  • This informal call helps us get to know each other and make sure we’re a great match.

  • We’ll talk about your home, lifestyle, timing, and answer any questions you have about welcoming a new puppy into your life.

 

​

Step 3: Secure Your Reservation

A $500 non-refundable reservation fee is required after:

  • Your application is approved

  • The Face-to-Face call is completed

  • The Reservation Agreement is signed

  • Payment is accepted via e-transfer or cash

Step 4: Join the Boreal Puppies' Families Community

  • Follow our Boreal Puppies' Facebook page for pregnancy and puppy milestones, see weekly photos and videos

  • Ask questions and connect with other families

  • Learn how to prepare for your puppy’s arrival

  • Watch videos and read posts regarding tips and tricks about potty training, leash training, puppy biting, jumping, puppy care, etc.

  • Optional puppy preparation video call with us if you would like.

Step 5: Meet and Greet

  • Meet all of the puppies at 6 Weeks Old. This can be done in-person or via video call. Each family is given 1h to visit with the puppies.

 

​

Step 6: Puppy Selection

  • Between 6-7 weeks old we complete a professional temperament evaluation of all of the puppies. This will help guide your puppy choice.

  • Puppy selection takes place in reservation order at 7 weeks old, ideally after vet examination.

  • Temperament testing results will help you understand your puppy's personality and assist you in better meeting their needs. 

  • Final balance is required within 24h of puppy selection

Step 7: Puppy Pickup (8 Weeks Old) 🎉

Prior to going home:​

  • Purchase contracts including spay/neuter and no-shelter policies are signed.

  • You must show documentation of microchip registration.

  • Then it’s time to take your puppy home!

  • Gain admission to the Boreal Puppies' Families Facebook Page where you can stay in touch with puppy parents and freely engage with our community of puppy parents.

Puppy Weeks at a glance:

Week 1: Email goes out to secure your spot on the litter

Week 4: Puppy preparation email is sent

Week 6: Meet the puppies; Temperament testing is completed.

Week 7: Vet exam and puppy choices are made

Week 8: Puppies GO HOME!

Puppies raised with Boreal Puppies:

​

  • are raised following the Badass Breeder puppy curriculum which means age appropriate training and desensitization for your puppy to help develop and create a confident puppy that is comfortable with human interaction. 

  • receive basic puppy manners training, potty training, and crate exposure.

  • receive temperament testing at 6-7 weeks and scored accordingly. These are provided to families to facilitate choosing the puppy that best fits your family.

  • receive a Veterinary examination and first set of vaccinations at 7 weeks old.

  • are dewormed 3 times.

  • will go home with a goody bag that includes:1-2 weeks worth of TLC puppy food, blanket and a heartbeat stuffy puppy with mom and littermate's smell, many other little goodies, an information package including vaccine and health records, and lots of helpful tips.

  • receive 30 days free pet insurance through Trupanion.

  • receive a 2 year health guarantee.

You and your family:

​​

  • gain admission to our Boreal Puppies Families Facebook Page where we will update with photos and videos of the puppies each week.

  • are scheduled one-on-one puppy preparation virtual call where we can also discuss puppy temperament and answer any questions you have. 

  • receive lifetime breeder support (for both you and your puppy!)
