How to Reserve your Puppy

1. Please fill out an application. We will respond to you within 24h, at which point we will extend an invitation for a phone call meet and greet.

2. You will have the opportunity to place a reservation fee to join our waiting lists for either a goldendoodle or poodle puppy, on the litter list of your choice. Receipt of your $400 reservation fee assures your placement on our waiting list. Order of puppy choice is based on order of payment received. Again, your reservation fee is transferable to another litter if we do not currently have what you are looking for or your life situation changes and the timing is not right!

3. Once puppies have been born we will invite puppy parents to join our Boreal Families Facebook page to receive regular photos of all of the puppies and updates regarding litter development.

4. At week 5 you will receive an email with a "Puppy Preparation Checklist". We also offer and encourage one-on-one consultations with us if you have other animals or children in the home so we can assist you with planning of the introduction/transition period.

5. Puppies will be temperament tested during week 6 and all of the scores, with explanations will be sent to you for review. Soon after puppy choices can be made in order of reservation. Meetings will be booked for each family to meet and interact with the puppies. These can be done virtually or in person. Then you may provide us with your top choice(s). Puppy selection will occur in order of reservation.

Note: full payment of the outstanding balance must be received 24h after choosing your puppy or we are unable to hold that specific puppy and it will remain available.

6. At 8 weeks old you can take home your puppy. *

*Please note that Breeder's Choice spots are designed so that the breeder may choose service dogs as requested based on the evaluations. If unused everyone will move up on the list.

*Most often clients lower on the list for puppy selection are happy with puppies available. However, if you are lower on the litter list and are not happy with the remaining option(s) you can be moved to the next open selection spot on the next litter (this is always based on date of reservation fee received.)

*Typically puppies go home at 8 weeks, though we reserve the right to alter this for the benefit of the puppies.
